Value Resorts

Updated: May 8, 2023

While they may be called value, you should not expect a budget motel when you arrive at a Disney Value Resort. You may not find the same lavish dining and grand entrance halls of the Deluxe Resorts, the Value Resorts provide a comfortable, clean, and fun place to call home while visiting the parks.

Disney’s value resorts are just that, they offer the best value to guests who want to stay on property but also have a tight budget. At first glance these resorts will look a bit motel-eque with multi-story boxy buildings, most with outside hallways. However each has that disney flair with over the top theming, updated rooms that make brilliant use of space, fun pools, large food courts with a variety of dining choices, and of course the Disney customer service. Value resorts do have the smallest rooms, and the least amount of amenities, but for a family with kids or someone looking to save some money on the room, these are great options.

Best for

  • Families with young kids will enjoy the cartoon-like theming of these hotels. Running into a life sized Lightning McQueen, or a giant Woody will bring some extra fun to their Disney day.

  • Families who aim to spend the majority of their time in the parks, who view a hotel room as just a place to sleep and just need the basic amenities.

  • Larger than standard groups looking for suites to stay in that don’t cost $1000/night.

Pricing

  • Lowest cost per night while staying on property (starting at $150/night)

  • Family suites at All-Star Music start at about $320/night

  • Family suites at Art of Animation start at about $460/night

Theming

  • Over the top fun theming, often with Disney characters incorporated for the delight of the child and child at heart.

  • Multistory fun Disney icons like Ariel, Pongo, and Woody, larger than life sports equipment or musical instruments and so much more.

Rooms

  • Smaller rooms (standard rooms are 260 sq ft)

  • Mostly exterior hallways only, exception is AoA family suite buildings.

  • Standard room only sleeps 4 people

  • Suites are available at Art of Animation and All-Star Music that can accommodate up to 6 adults.

  • Rooms at the All-Star resorts and Pop Century have been updated recently. These updated rooms offer improved storage without sacrificing floor space, additional electrical sockets and usb ports, along with a sleek modern design that make the rooms feel more spacious.

Recreation

  • Themed main pool, some with splash pads, & smaller quiet pools.

  • Activities throughout the day in or near the main pool area including Movie Under the Stars.

  • Playground at each resort.

  • Arcade at each resort.

Dining

  • Each Value resort has a large food court with fairly standard food court offerings such as burgers, pizza, pasta, and salads.

  • Pizza delivery is available.

  • Each resort has a bar area near the pool.

Transportation

  • AoA and Pop Century have skyliner access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios

  • Buses are available for all other transportation to parks or Disney Springs

  • The All-Star resorts share a bus system
