Universal Orlando Express Pass

What is Express Pass?

Express Pass at Universal Studios Florida is a paid system that essentially allows you to skip almost any line at the parks. There are several different kinds of Express Passes:

  • Basic Universal Express Pass – Skip the regular lines once for each participating attractions

  • Universal Express Unlimited Pass – Skip lines an unlimited amount of times at each participating attractions

  • Volcano Bay Express Pass – Skip the lines once for a limited number of attractions at Volcano Bay

  • Volcano Bay Express PLUS Pass – Skip the lines once at more of the attractions at Volcano Bay.

How does Express Pass work?

There is no need to schedule a virtual queue or a come-back time, there is an Express Pass line at every attraction that participates in Express Pass. Simply scan your pass and in you go. With a Basic Express pass you may enter the line one time per attraction per day. With an Unlimited Pass you can use it as many times as you would like.

Is Express Pass always available?

It is always an option, however, there are a limited number of Express Passes available per day so on busy days they do sell out of them.


Can you pre-purchase an Express Pass?

Yes, you can pre-purchase Express Pass either through Universal or at reputable third party sellers when you purchase your tickets. If you do not purchase it with your tickets, you can buy Express Pass in the parks once you arrive.
