Updated: Aug 28
Walt Disney World has announced dates for the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
The 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will run from August 29, 2024 until November 23, 2024. For those keeping track, the festival is beginning over a full month later than in 2023. The end date is also later, but Thanksgiving falls later this year, and the end date typically changes in tandem with the holiday.
ETA: Disney has released the complete menu and booths for the festival. Click here to read more,
Disney also gave us a sneak peak of some of the festival food offerings that will be available including: Belgian Waffles with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream and Warm Chocolate Ganache at the Belgium, Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce, Dark Chocolate Fondue with Berries, Pound Cake, and Meringues in Germany, and Passionfruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts will in the Hawai’i Marketplace.
The Emile’s Fromage Montage will be back in 2024 - encouraging festival guests to sample cheese dishes. Purchase five cheese dishes listed in the Festival Passport to earn a unique speciality item.
Disney Park’s also teased some of the exclusive merchandise that will be available to purchase during the festival. They feature Remy, Mickey Mouse and the beloved Epcot icon Figment.
Another released detail includes that the new Communicore Hall will be integrated into the festival experience, though no specifics were given. Additionally, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series complete with dining packages will return as well as the Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt and Pluto’s Pumpkin Hunt.
We are super pumped to hear about all the anticipated food and fun as we are heading there in September. However, we predict there will be guests with vacation plans in the month of August who will be extremely disappointed to find out the Food and Wine festival will not be taking place during that time. What do you think? Will there be guests who reschedule or just cancel their plans?
